BUSINESSES in the South West that are under pressure to increase their income revenue streams and be more environmentally-friendly are encouraged to get advice on going green this year (2013).

Companies can receive free tips on converting to the renewable energy source from now (Friday, January 25) onwards from a solar panel installation company in the region.

Phil Grabham, Managing Director of Solar Systems, said: "We're aware that many businesses are feeling under pressure at the moment to increase their income and at the same time address the growing need to become more environmentally-friendly. We are happy to chat to any companies that are interested in finding out more.

"More than 10% of the UK's energy now comes from a renewable source. The Government has also recognised that solar power is integral to helping the country achieve its emission targets and power requirements by 2020.

"In order to reach these targets, companies need to become greener and one way of doing this is by installing solar panel systems. Business owners are often unaware of the savings that could be made by installing larger solar arrays and that they can be a great investment.

"Our team has more than 30 years' experience in the industry and will be available to offer advice to anyone thinking about installing solar panels, including financing and planning if required."

In the past 12 months the cost of solar panels has dropped by 50%, which gives a financial return on the investment of more than 16%, index-linked and guaranteed for 20 years.

The team at Solar Systems is inviting business owners who would like to find out more to give the company a call on 01823 481 329. Alternatively, it can answer queries via Twitter at www.twitter.com/solarsystems1.

Phil added: "There are environmental benefits to using the technology too. Using PV panels promotes companies that wish to have a profile of being 'green' and friendly towards the environment."
